Spelling Bee
A school spelling competition that challenges students and celebrates strong vocabulary — with winners advancing beyond Level Creek.
The story
The Spelling Bee gives Level Creek students a chance to stretch their vocabulary, practice under a little friendly pressure, and represent our school with pride.
How it works
Students compete in rounds of spelling, typically by grade band or school-wide rules announced before the event. Study lists and registration details go out when the bee is scheduled — usually mid-year.
Top spellers may advance to cluster, district, or regional competitions depending on that year’s format.
Get involved
Board VP Lidia Griffin oversees the Spelling Bee. Volunteers help with registration, proctoring, timing, and cheering on the stage.
